Become a Volunteer

Come be a part of our team!

Do you enjoy helping people? The Center has a vital volunteer program in which you can play an important role.

To volunteer in any capacity at Columbus Speech & Hearing Center you must complete the Volunteer Application. Once we receive your application we will contact you to set up a schedule.

If you have trouble sending your application via email, please send it through snail mail to 510 E. North Broadway, Columbus, Ohio 43214 Attn: Volunteer Coordinator.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • Corporate Volunteer Days – Looking for an opportunity for your organization to give back to the community? Schedule a corporate volunteer day at Columbus Speech & Hearing Center! Teams of volunteers spend the day helping with projects around the Center. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator to learn more, call 614.261.5417 or contact online.
  • Classroom Assistant - Do you like working with children and helping them develop language skills? Volunteers are needed quarterly in our Language and Early Learning Program and Toddler Language Class. Must enjoy getting down and dirty with the children in a classroom setting.
  • Administrative/Project Support - As with any organization, administrative tasks are the behind the scenes projects that support the programs and staff who work directly with consumers. Individuals who volunteer in our administrative offices will be able to see first hand the importance of these job responsibilities.
  • Great Communicators Golf Classic - Help with the planning of our annual golf outing held at the end of June each year. This day of golf, silent auction, raffle prizes and fun benefits the Columbus Speech & Hearing Center. Many volunteers are needed the day of the event also to be a success!


Observation Hours:
