Do you enjoy helping people? The Center has a vital volunteer program where you can play an important role.

Volunteer opportunities:

Corporate Volunteer Days – Looking for an opportunity for your organization to give back to the community? Schedule a corporate volunteer day at Columbus Speech & Hearing Center! Teams of volunteers spend the day helping with projects around the Center. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator to learn more, call 614.261.5417 or contact online.
Classroom Assistant - Do you like working with children and helping them develop language skills? Volunteers are needed quarterly in our Language and Early Learning Program and Toddler Language Class. Must enjoy getting down and dirty with the children in a classroom setting.
Administrative/Project Support - As with any organization, administrative tasks are the behind the scenes projects that support the programs and staff who work directly with consumers. Individuals who volunteer in our administrative offices will be able to see first hand the importance of these job responsibilities.

Volunteer at special events:

Great Communicators Luncheon - Help with the planning of central Ohio’s premiere fundraiser, the Great Communicators Luncheon, benefiting the Columbus Speech & Hearing Center in May of each year.
A Tropical Night in November - Join us in the planning of our major fall dinner and auction taking place in early November.
