4th Annual Halloween Hop!
Halloween Hop is a FREE, not-too-spooky trick-or-treat event for families and kids of all abilities. Columbus Speech & Hearing Center created Halloween Hop four years ago to provide a fun fall experience for kids who may otherwise be sensitive to the lights, sounds and masks of other Halloween-themed events.
We create a Halloween experience that eliminates scary decorations, minimizes challenges that children with special needs often face, and encourages participation at each child’s own level and pace. Every kid can trick-or-treat for edible and non-edible treats, enjoy a magic show, pet therapy dogs, partake in themed crafts, and watch live kid-friendly music.
In addition, we provide educational packets to families on how to make Halloween a success, as well as strategies to make other everyday experiences and routines more successful. Join us this year for a spooktacular time!
In order to keep Halloween Hop safe and fun for all participants, we ask that all masks and scary face paint be removed prior to entering the building.
